📈 Note on the climate trend
The annual temperature curve shows the evolution of the annual mean over the chosen period. However, concluding a "climate trend" requires a sufficient reference period — the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) recommends at least 30 years. Shorter periods may show variations that do not necessarily reflect the site’s long-term climate trend. For a scientific comparison, it is advisable to use the same reference period (e.g. 1991–2020) and the same ERA5-Land grid.
💳 Service & payment terms
- Each approved order grants 5 PNG downloads and one free Word report, with no expiry. No refund is possible once the download has been performed, as the service is executed immediately.

Frequently asked questions
How do I create the annual temperature curve of my site?
Click a point on the map, choose the start and end years, then press "Generate curve". The chart appears in under a minute with the years on the horizontal axis, and you can customize its colours and formatting.
How is the annual mean calculated?
It is computed from daily 2 m temperature values (ERA5-Land via Open-Meteo): the mean of each month, then the annual mean of each year is the mean of its twelve months. Incomplete years are excluded.
Is the platform free?
Generation, preview and customization are free. Downloading the PNG without watermark and the detailed report (Word) require an approved order (5 image downloads per order; the report is free for the holder of an approved order).
What is the source of the temperature data?
Historical ERA5-Land reanalysis data (Copernicus / ECMWF): air temperature at 2 m as daily values (mean, maximum, minimum), available since 1950 via Open-Meteo.
How many years should I choose?
To reveal the climate trend, 30 years are recommended (the World Meteorological Organization reference period). You can choose any period since 1950; the current year is excluded because it is incomplete.
Can I customize the colours and style of the chart?
Yes. Pick a preset theme or adjust the colours, line style and thickness, point size, displayed values, grid, legend and Y-axis limits; the preview updates instantly.
